Bree said nutrient-packed sweet potatoes are versatile and can be turned into tasty dishes including sweet potato pizza bites, nachos, fries and mash.
‘My personal favourites are the sweet potato pizza bites and mini quiche boats… these are next level good, plus you can store them in the fridge to grab on the go and they still taste amazing,’ she said.
Her go-to snacks include yoghurt and smoothies.
‘Yoghurt is packed with protein which helps you stay fuller for longer and is great for any sweet cravings,’ she explained.
‘Use banana to help make your smoothies thick and creamy. Add your favourite protein to make it a protein smoothie.’

To make the healthy snack, Bree used sweet potato, cheese, tomato, basil, red onion, tomato passata sauce and barbecue sauce – but different toppings can be used based on personal preference.
Bree preheated the oven to 200 degrees Celsius and sliced the sweet potato into bite-sized pieces with a two-centimetre thickness.
She then lined an oven tray with baking paper, sprayed olive oil and placed the vegetable pieces on top.
The sweet potato was then cooked in the oven for 20 minutes.
‘While I wait this is usually when I prepare the toppings, and then once the sweet potato is ready add the pizza sauce and toppings,’ she said in the video.
Next, she placed the bites back in the oven for five minutes to crisp the toppings before serving.
