The coronavirus pandemic has proven disastrous for many in the food sector. From shuttered foodservice to outbreaks in meatpacking facilities, the industry has been left far from untouched.

Frozen goods major could be cause of infections, Chinese studies find

Studies into the clusters of Covid-19 cases in recent months show that contaminated cold-chain food products could be a cause of the outbreaks, highlighting the need for protection of workers associated with the industry, according to news site China.org.cn.
